32nd Annual Best Dam Run 10K Run & Walk — Saturday, September 26
This all-paved course follows a gentle stretch of the Clackamas River featuring pristine views of the river, shading forests, interesting geology and the occasional bald eagle or osprey keeping an eye on things. Most of the point-to-point course is closed to vehicles.
Organized in 1983 to benefit local youth sports The ORRC Best Dam Run and Walk continues a tradition of creating a fun event to benefit youth activities. This year participants can also support the Estacada Food Bank by bringing donations. Those donating food items will receive a second raffle ticket!

Please Note: This is a point to point event. Participants will be transported from the finish line at the Estacada City Hall to the start line.
Day of registration and bus pick up at:

- Be at the city hall by 8:30 a.m. for a bus to the start line
- 9:30 a.m. walkers start
- 10 a.m. runners start
- Please note that we will accommodate wheel-racers on the bus, but no animals, buggy or infant carriers.
An ORRC certified 10K (6.2 mile) road race and walk along a gentle stretch of the wild and scenic Clackamas River in the Cascade Mountain foothills at Estacada just 25 miles East of Portland. The start is east of Estacada on North Fork Lake. The course meanders along river to finishin downtown Estacada to a welcoming Farmers Market and musical entertainment.

Finisher medals will be provided to all participants and the top three finishers in each age group will receive a ribbon. In addition, we will have prize drawings at the finish, so stay for the awards and chance to win something.
An ORRC 10K Series Race
This race is part of the Oregon Road Runners Club 10K series of races. In addition to the usual awards, entrants may
also enter the series and win additional recognition and awards for their
performance in the series.The first three finishers in each ORRC category (both running and walking) will receive ribbons. Medals will be distributed to all walker and runners as they last.
