34th Annual Blue Lake Runs and Walk

5K Run, 5K Walk, 15K Run/Walk, 1K kids run

Course
All events are open to all - fast, slow and in between (15K event must be completed in two hours). The courses (out and back) flat and fast!

Start Times
11:00 - 15K Run/Walk
11:10 - 5K Run and 5K Walk
10:30 - 1K Kids Run

Goodies
High quality tech shirts are available for only $10.
The top 6 finishers in all ORRC 5-year age groups (to 80 & up) in both running events receive place ribbons. The top 6 male and top 6 female fitness walkers in the 5K Walk receive place ribbons. All participants receive FREE FOOD, DRINKS and COOKIES and a certificate for a FREE pair of running gloves. Results will be put in ORRC’s Publications and posted on the Internet.

Directions and Rules
Blue Lake Park is located east of Portland, near Troutdale and Gresham, Oregon. Take I-84 east to Exit #14 and follow signs to Park, or take Marine Drive east of I-205 to Blue Lake Road. Download a map.

NOTE: The Park also charges $4/car, car-pooling is strongly encouraged. Pets and alcohol are prohibited. Restrooms are available at the Park. Please observe all Park rules!

*Why You are Guaranteed to Have Fun
The ORRC Blue Lake Runs cannot promise sunshine, although October can be a great time to run or walk at Blue Lake Park. Leaves changing colors, hot food waiting at the Finish, and events tailored to provide a race distance to suit all members of the family. Afterwards, enjoy hot dogs, cookies, free soft drinks and other goodies in the covered pavilion while you hear the race results and see if you won a prize drawing.
